Davis is a teeny-tiny theme from Anders Norén. It’s mainly intended for blogging because it has an elegant, clean look and it doesn’t overpower the content.
This theme meets all the requirements of the WordPress theme directory and has full support for Gutenberg – and it achieves this only with three PHP files. If you are a developer and you are looking for a starter theme, then Davis is a good choice.
Anders decided to use the extraordinary PT Serif as the primary font, which has support for a broad variety of languages. With Davis, you don’t have to worry if you write in other than English.
We especially like how all the headings have the same font size. This gives the impression that you are reading a markdown or a plain text document. With this theme, if you want to make a statement, you have to do it with your words.
